Catha edulis, Khat (Qat), was extremely popular
in ancient Egypt. Khat was used to increase
conversation. Catha edulis is little-known today
outside its common use by Arab males in Yemen.
Catha edulis foliage, commonly called Khat or
Quat, is illegal in the U.S. Perfectly legal to grow,
though.
Our Catha edulis seeds are viable and
untreated. Easily grown into Khat plants. I
recommend the growing instructions found at
Plott55.com.
New Khat seeds now available. Freshly harvested.
